Join us for a fly-in to Reading, PA (RDG) this Saturday. We’ll gather at the newly opened restaurant at 11:30. Ask ground to park you at the terminal, which no longer has air carrier service so you can park right out front and enter at the door with the “Restaurant” sign.
Those interested can visit the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum before/after lunch. Of particular interest is the ongoing restoration of a P-61 Black Widow WWII night fighter, which eventually will be the only flying P-61 out of the four in existence. Only thing to remember is the MAAM is on the opposite side of the airport from the restaurant, so you’ll have to taxi across the runway to get from one to the other.
Thanks to Capt. Ron Levy for organizing the fly in.
