Building on our proud AYA heritage
It's that time of year again to mark your calendars for the annual Grumman Picnic & Maintenance Seminar. The date is September 16th. The location is Excel-Air Services located on the Jasper County Airport (RZL), Rensselaer, IN. Plan to start arriving around 10:00 for coffee & donuts and to view the many un-airworthy parts John & his crew find throughout the year. Around 11:30 we will start eating the buffet lunch John will have catered in and the maintenance seminar will begin afterwards.
This year there will be a bonus event. Starting at 5:00 and running until 7:00 will be Tunes on the Tarmac.
The inaugural Tunes on the Tarmac, a charity concert series benefiting worthy charities with local reach. 100% of admissions from this coming concert will go directly to Mercy Flight, a §501c3 non-profit organization that helps provide free air transportation for people with limited financial means needing treatment at distant medical facilities, or other compassionate needs. Mercy Flight is a great local aviation charity that is administered by John and Cheryl Sjaardema, who are also the owners of Excel Air Services, nationally renowned aviation maintenance facility.
