AYA - The International Grumman American Pilots Association

Welcome to the AYA website. Please report any broken links or pages that are not working to the ESD. Any suggestions or comments can also be forwarded to the ESD. In addition to the information available here, AYA Members have access to a range of services and capabilities once they have logged on to the site. Tutorials showing you how to access these facilities can be found in the Clubhouse Library - you need to logged into access these capabilities.

AYA is the international type club for owners and pilots of Grumman American light aircraft.
Grummans are renowned as fun, sporty, efficient, and safe personal aircraft with relatively simple systems, offering more performance at a lower cost than comparable models of other types.

True Flight Aerospace, holder of the Type Certificates for 8 Grumman American aircraft models including the well known Yankee, Cheetah and Tiger, is proud to announce that True Flight Repair Station has earned its FAA Repair Station Certification #11TR285B

Convention Date Revision Proposal Passes
The change removes the date stipulation that was in the club constitution.

New AYA Promotional Brochure
Download and print a few copies of this color, tri-fold brochure to use when meeting non-AYA Grummanites. Print the two pages back to back for the best effect.

AYA 2010- Dayton, Ohio
The 2010 AYA Convention is scheduled for Dayton, Ohio, (KMGY), July 12-17.

Download Library Updated- Again

The Library has been updated. Members can now download previous American Star magazines, in color where available, from the present to 2000. Most files are about 2mb and printing is permitted. Click here for the Library.

AYA Membership Expires?
You can quickly check when your AYA membership expires by logging in and checking on the Club House homepage, the second paragraph of the welcome message should show your current email address and membership expiry date.

The Grumman Family

Though fondly referred to by most owners as "Grummans," these aircraft were originally manufactured by American Aviation and later by Grumman and Gulfstream before going out of production during the 1980s. American General produced Tigers in the early 1990s, and in 2001 Tiger Aircraft once again began building Tigers. The Grumman line includes:
