Welcome to the Maintenance Help Section of the AYA website. This area is designed to provide access to maintenance information, hints and tips, and practical guides to assist those maintaning our Grumman American Type Aircraft.  

Contributions to this section are welcome, and this section should be used as a forum for sharing information throughout the ‘Grumman’ Community.

Contribution of Articles

The true value of the AYA is the ability for fellow Grumman Aircraft owners and Pilots to share their knowledge with each other - this site is provided as a service to the Grumman Community by the AYA, and we encourage you to share your knowledge and experience with others. If you would like to have a maintenance related article published on this site, send the article in what ever form you are able to esd@aya.org and we will arrange to have it published for you.

One of the easiest ways to present your article is to submit it in pdf format - that way you are in control of how the article will be viewed by the reader, and any images you wish to use to illustrate your article are captured in the pdf document. If you do not know how prepare a pdf document – don’t worry, just send the article in whatever format you have and we’ll arrange all the necessary formatting and presentation to be done for you. We’d rather share your knowledge than have you worrying about how to polish it up for the web site.
